Dance for me.

Image
"Dance Monkey" by Tones and I on their only release so far, The Kids Are Coming, is truly unique. Enjoy this fresh new song with the fresh and fun Belgian-style tripel, Golden Monkey, by Victory Brewing Company, based in Downingtown, PA. "Dance for me, dance for me, dance for me." There's that one person at the bar you want to have an exhilarating experience with; that could be a dance. That's what this song is all about. You know your paths will separate at some point but you should enjoy the moment while it's right in front of you. "I've never seen anybody do the things you do before. They say move for me, move for me, move for me and when you're done I'll make you do it all again." Belgian tripels are not so different. Savior the moment. These beers are hard to come by at a lively bar but they are a great choice. They're strong so it'll last you awhile before having to wait in line at the bar again but they are also...

There's a riot living inside of us.

In ways "Father of All…" by Green Day is more punk than any song they have created before. Of course, it's still very modern and the band uses sound techniques that a traditional garage band wouldn't use. In fact, the voices might be one hundred percent distorted. But that's not necessarily a bad thing… "I got paranoia, baby, and it's so hysterical…crackin' up under the pressure looking for a miracle." Green Day is one punk-rock band that had a huge influence on many teens in the 1990s and 2000s and they are not going anywhere anytime soon. After listening to "Father of All…," you'll notice they still got it! They might be sticking with what is modern but that is not hurting their reputation. This single will make you want to mosh. "Im impressed with the presence of none. I'm possessed from the heat of the sun. Hurry up 'cause I'm making a fuss…fingers up 'cause there's no one to trust." Try DBA, ...

You're meant to cry.

Image
We're emotional creatures. "You live. You die. You're meant to cry. Somedays you'll fall and you'll never believe your eyes. And your tears will dry…that's life." Even when we're happy, we can get extremely emotional. Sometimes we're just full of ecstasy and we are just happy to be happy. That is basically the message behind the EDM single, "Ur Eyez," by Peking Duk featuring Al Wright. "It's real…in your crop top, walkin' down the avenue…so surreal, with your shock top, tryna make your body move. C'mon baby, feel, like a pop rock, sour in the afternoon. You just gotta keep ridin'; don't forget its exciting." There is nothing wrong with being happy and enjoying some craft beer. Let's celebrate craft beer with this new hit single by pairing it with the brewers who started it all, Anchor Brewing. Anchor Brewing Company, in San Francisco, is credited to be the first "modern" craft brewery by...

I'll die riding in a red hearse.

Image
It's a triple threat! "Red Hearse" by Red Hearse on the album, Red Hearse, is unusually catchy. It's basically synth-funk-pop-rock…simple enough? It's perfectly weird. "I'll dive in it head first. I'll die riding in a red hearse." It's only appropriate to pair this triple threat with a triple IPA. Triple IPAs are complex beers. They are bitter like the blatant lyrics of this song. But triple IPAs are also somehow often malty and sweet and always different from one another with flavors ranging from all sorts. Whether you like beers this strong or not, drinking them can be an interesting experience for your tastebuds. Your mouth will turn into an adventure park bouncing from sweet, tangy, hoppy, syrupy, bitter, and then often citrusy or fruity. In most cases, the citrus flavor comes from the hops themselves. "Wake up in the midnight…heavy heart hitting under red light. The last flowers, the first sight, first time I saw you, gave me...

When I found you, I found me.

Image
You've been in a rut. You couldn't get out. You became something you didn't want until you found the one you love. Life starts to feel pretty awesome now. "Never been saved but I've never come closer. Another year down and another year older. A million fresh starts, what I needed was closure. Yeah, I lost who I was but I found my composure." Now that you found that new beer you love so much, anything seems possible. For many, a person's first sour is an incredible experience. They are all the buzz right now but not because they're new…because they're like nothing else. Firstly, many sour beers don't taste like beer at all. In fact, many taste like juice. But there is one sour type that stands out from the rest of the sours and that's a gose. In America, beers with the label "Gose" are usually just simply sour and refreshing. They are perfect for the summer. They have the taste of fruit but are usually not so juicy that they...

Let's get loud like thunder.

Image
"Thunder" by Shaed is all about getting loud. "Wherever you are, let's get loud like thunder." It's a short catchy song. It's easy to sing along to with all sorts of electronic sounds. It also doesn't hurt that the lead singer, Chelsea Lee, has a beautiful voice. This single that released alongside with "ISOU" is pretty chill but somehow is still full of energy. The band members, Spencer and Max Ernst, know what they're doing to keep their music entertaining with unique sounds you have never heard work together before. "Know in your heart, they won't drag us under. They can't blow. Every brick we lay will make us stronger." To be frank, this might not be the easiest song to write about. It's just too hard to put in words. You'll have to listen for yourself. Once you do start listening to this song by the electropop trio based in Washington, DC, you'll want to pair it with a refreshing and easy-drink...

There's a picture on the wall of Kanye West.

Image
"Freaking Out," the psychedelic pop-rock song by The Wrecks, gets pretty weird… "In the bathroom, on my back, there's a picture on the wall of Kanye West. He's staring at me; he's staring at me. I'm freaking out; I'm freaking out." …as weird as an IPA labeled with a tiger shooting rainbow-lasers out of his eyes. Elysian's Dayglow IPA pairs perfectly with the odd sounds The Wrecks bring us in this new single. "I'm on the lawn. It's almost 3:00. I look around; I look at her; she looks at me. She's suspicious; she's suspicious. I'm freaking out; I'm freaking out." The lyrics and the sounds of the keyboard will automatically have you thinking, "this is weird." And even more so if you listen to the guitar rift in the first second as you stare at your newly found Dayglow bottle. But then you take a sip. It's crisp, a little juicy, and oh my—is that pineapple? Yes, it is! Now your on to the cho...
