Blazing World, an amber ale by Modern Times Beer, is a hoppy beer where you can really taste and smell the variety of hops. It'll take your tastebuds on a roller coaster. "'Hello' from the enemy." Make that ride even crazier by listening to "Red Horse" by Plural. It's an edgy hardcore-rock jam that pairs nicely with any red or amber ale. Not many heavy rock songs sound as melodic as this one. Mother Mother's latest album, Dance and Cry, is an interesting one. The front half is very melodic and happy while the back half sounds a lot darker and heavy. Stuck in the middle is an unusually folksy song called "It's Alright" and it might be the most friendly sounding song on the album but the lyrics tell a different story. "Oh, hey. I had a night; I had a day. I did one million stupid things. I said one billion foolish things. I'm not okay; I got a baseball bat beside my bed to fight off what's inside my head, to fight off what's behind my meds. I'm lonely, lost in pain." The lyrics, in fact, tell a mixed story.
